WD-40 sprayed around the button and keep pushing it, getting the car in a heated garage first might help, if not CAREFULLY heat with a hand held hair dryer or heat gun, if this doesn't help, you will need to get at the latch and linkage to lube
thanks sandman, I'll give it a try--
had the same problem with mine as sandman said WD-40 but for mine i had to spray in the entry and constantly work it with the key..
