    Your 2 options on this are to go to the dealer or to a aftermarket stereo shop.

    The truth is that unless you have a friend who works at a stereo shop it is not likely that anyone would reveal the codes to you.

    And the reason for this are quite simple,,every car stereo thief would love to have access to these codes so they could reset each and every radio they steal.

    Did you pull the radio while changing out the stereo? I'm not sure about GM, but sometimes you can find the code on a sticker on the radio. It sounds like newer GM vehicles get the radio code from the VIN and store it, and if the radio is pulled (or disconnected I guess in your case), it won't work anywhere.
