Check your warranty book that came in the packet with the car when new. I just checked for my 2011 Suzuki and the cat converter on it is warranteed for 8 years/100K miles (whichever comes first). But this is only for the states of CA, CN, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA,RI, VT and WA - and it is for a 2011 - so you must check your "New Vehicle Warranty information" booklet. Depending upon when in 2003 or 2004 your vehicle was put into service and the state, you could be in luck (or not).

    Thank you!

I checked my warrantee book, which I didn't even know I had...and the state of Oregon isn't in it. So I called the NJ office...

They said my car would be warranteed at 84,000 or under up to the year 2010.

The new warrantee that is 150,000/10 yrs. is the Subaru that has the little green leaf on it.

I am contemplating how hard it would be to superglue a little leaf onto my car....hahaha.

    Thanks again!

Sorry you missed out but thanks for passing along that green leaf information! Somehow, I think the Subaru dealer wouldn't be fooled if you had one glued on to your 2003...
