    First step, check the coolant level and condition. If its been more than 2 years, flush the cooling system with the heat on full and you may want to replace the thermostat at the same time. The lack of heat would indicate that the heater core is blocked. A good flush will normally fix that. Next, check to see that the cooling fans come on when the engine is idling at full temperature. If not, you may need to replace the relay in the fuse box and/or the engine coolant temperature sensor.
