2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 The door lock interior switch or fob will not always unlock the rear doors. Works intermittently.

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. The door locks interior or fob will not always unlock the rear doors. They work intermittently from the fob or if you push the interior door lock button. Drivers side or passenger, fob #1 or #2 they all work just some of the time. And it is both rear doors not just one that do not unlock. Dealer says it needs re-programing ??? Thanks for the help... i hope.
