    To drain the entire transmission, you'd disconnect the transmission return cooler line and run the engine while adding ATF fluid until it runs clear and clean. This will drain and refill the torque converter as well as the transmission. You can insert the disconnected line to a gallon milk jug to catch the old fluid while shifting the gear lever back and forth as a helper adds fluid. Make sure you have plenty of new fluid to add before you start as the tranny holds quite a lot of ATF fluid.
