2004 Suzuki Forenza's speedometer has quit but miles still working. Sensor is fine.
The speedometer was working fine yesterday. Today I got a ticket because it quit and I didn't realize it. It is stuck on 10 miles an hour. I checked the sensor and it is fine. What else could it be

Most probably there is a short in the instrument cluster circuit board. The only way to check this is to pull the instrument cluster and check the back of it where connector attaches to the circuit board.
