One possibility is that the oil pressure sender is defective. You could sort that out by either replacing the sender, or by temporarily installing an oil pressure gauge in place of the sender; and comparing the oil pressure to the manufacturers specifications. This could also happen if your engine oil level is too low; if the oil need to be changed; or if you are using too light an oil viscosity (like 5W-30) for a turbocharged vehicle. Turbocharged engines place the greatest stresses on oil. Because of that; so called "energy conserving" oils, which are diluted in comparison to regular oils, are an unwise choice for that engine (even though the manufacturer is required by federal law to recommend it). I hope this helps!!!Joel
