JCrig	2005 Ford Ranger engine quits while driving. 2005 Ford Ranger, engine quits while driving, push fuel reset button and it re-starts. Will change fuel filter today, don't see any leaks. Any other suggestions?

It sounds like the inertia fuel cutoof switch is bad. I would replace it, because eventually, the fuel system is not going to reset when you press it. It may also kill the engine in a dangerous situation and leave you powerless and unable to control the truck.
