2005 Mercury Grand Marquis. Does anyone know where auto-leveling compresser is located?

this car has a air leveling system and i need to find the compressor to fix it is not a fuse

Not sure about a 2005, specifically, but in the 90's they put it just behind the driver's side headlamp and the core support, and between the radiator and the windshield washer tank. My understanding is that it isn't serviceable--you just have to remove and replace the whole unit.

The compressor is about the size of your fist. Look around for something that size with 4 hoses connected to the top. The hoses are probably hard black plastic, not much thicker than spaghetti.
