We change a large number of speakers on these vehicles, for this problem. They go out, one at a time and after several fail, become noticeable. Chevrolet sells replacements at a more reasonable price than most other sources.
i had the same problem with the front driver side while under warranty they replaced the speaker and life was good until winter came again and the speaker cutts out. It will come back if left in the sun to warm up. I'm thinking about buying a better brand and try that. They said it was getting moister in the speaker and thats why it failed. hope this helps
