jokeabel2	2006 Ford Ranger 2WD 4 cylinder. New clutch, master and slave cylinders and transmission stuck in gear. No problem with this til now. Truck has 110k miles and clutch started slipping. I replaced clutch, both bearings, master and slave cylinders and now I can't get it out of gear. New clutch disengages fine and grabs good in gear. I just can't get the gearshift to change gears. Stuck in first. I've replaced several clutches over the years and never had problems like this before. Can you help?

it sounds like the clutch is not full releasing for some reason. Did you replace the pressure plate?

Also, any chanc you might have put the clutch disk in backwards (I've done it! ).

if you shut the engine off, does it come out of gear then?
