2007 Honda Accord V6 with 6 speed Manual tranmission, tends to baulk going into 3rd gear. Is this typical?

2007 Honda Accord V6 with 6 speed Manual tranmission, tends to baulk going into 3rd gear. Is this typical? Worst is 2nd to third shift but not every time, just some of the time. Is this a known problem or do I have a lemon?

Unfortunately, this is typical. Some have had the dealer replace the manual transmission fluid, with little or no improvement. You can try to replace with a higher quality synthetic manual transmission fluid (amsoil, redline, royal purple) as some have had better luck with these. This will not void your warranty, and is cheap and easy to do yourself. Otherwise, this is something you'll have to live with.
