On some vehicles there is a lock override switch on the drivers door.

When the override switch is on, the doors won't lock.

When the switch is off, the doors automatically lock.

Have you checked the owners manual for operating instructions ?

The infinity dealer can assist you with the operating procedures.

I checked the manual but I could not find anything but maybe I'm not looking up the correct terminology, and I checked with the dealer and they could not help me. Apparently only a few of the 2007 vehicles are equipped with this feature and the dealer is not very familiar with how to fix it. This is really fustrating.

I contacted Infiniti Consumer Affairs without success. I was told that someone would call me back wthin 24 hours. It took over a week and three follow up phone calls before someone called me back. So much for good customer service. The representative Amber that finally called me back told me that the M2007 did not come with the auto lock/unlock feature. I stated to her that mine did and it worked for the past year and a half. She then told me that "if enough customer call then infiniti will look into it" I could not believe her response.

I realize obviously that this was not a standard feature for the 2007M's however there are many owners that had or have this feature with there vehicles. You would think that infiniti would at least try to look into it instead of blowing their customer off.
