Also MPG only 15. Need assistance please. I have seen almost 16 mpg. But not much. Need assistance please. No codes. Truck does everything else right except both door speaker were intermittent and then just quit working altogether. This truck doesn't get the rated mileage for an engine with a management system... I am unhappy with that. Also it uses oil.. I haven't recorded the exact amount... But Come on GM... It uses oil....Whats up with that..?? We the public know that 1 quart per 2000 miles according to your documentation isn't right.. I have only put 20000 miles on this truck since I owned it and was quite surprised to find the dipstick dry. Yes the oil has been changed 2 times. Once by the dealer and once by me.... By the way,,, the dealer never mentioned oil use.. not once. It sure would be nice to get this straightened out so that I don't have to sell this problem to another unsuspecting person.... A person who might bad mouth the product.... Is there any help out there for me?? How long will this engine hold up???

Don't start it until you have the oil up to the full mark, then check it at every fillup. Until you know how many miles per quart, it's hard to tell how much of a problem you have.
