2008 Ford Ranger XLT. How do I interpret its VIN (number) so to know how the vehicle was built?

I want to know how a 2008 Ford Ranger XLT was built with options such as trailer towing package and what does the package consist of? What is the original factory paint, the style or type of body, any added suspension components, etc?

The VIN tells you the country of origin, manufacturer, vehicle type, model, body type, engine type, Trim level, check digit, model year, assembly plant, production seqence number, vehicle class, driveline type, fuel type, transmission, and restraint system. You can decode a VIN at this website: http://www.pronto-net.com/vin_app/vin.ph.... If you want to know what options the vehicle has, you have to see the vehicle in person. If it is on a dealers lot, you can read the window sticker or talk to a dealer to find out what options are availible. To know the original color of the vehicle, you need to locate the manufacturer's paint code. On Ford models, it is located on the driver door edge, or the driver B pillar. You can cross reference the code at: https://www.duplicolor.com/color_selecti... .(See pages 12-13).
