The MIL will light if there is even a tiny leak in any of the fuel tank vent hoses; as well as if the fuel tank cap is removed while the motor is running, or if the cap is not tightened at least four clicks past the point where it stops. Chrysler products are also known to develop tiny cracks in the molded plastic hose that connects between the two vapor storage cannisters. These cracks are often very difficult to see, and require a strong light and a magnifying glass, along with turning the hose over and inspecting the bottom side. Replacing that molded connector has cured this problem in many other vehicles. Loose connections or damaged or swollen vacuum hoses at junctions can also cause it.
