Edmunds Visitor	2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.4 oil change. Dealer puts 5-20 oil in my 2012 Hyundai Sonata GLS 2.4 198 hp. Is this for better mileage? Can this cause long term problems?

That's fine. That's one of the optional specs for your car. For summer, you might want to switch to 10W-30.
