So you should have primary resistance of coil, cold at 1.28 to 1.56 ohms

Secondary resistance COLD at 10.4K to 14K

NE Pickup Coil Resistance: 185 - 265 ohms

    G1 Pickup Coil Resistance: 185 - 265 ohms

Using a non magnetic feeler gauge, measure the gap between the signal rotor and its related pickup coil.

    Air Gap: 0.008 - 0.016 in (0.2 - 0.4 mm)

Also examine the coil for discoloration or damage

If the resistance on NE and G or G and G1 are not correct, replace the entire distributor assembly.
