It is not hard at all and does not require special tools, but you do want to take it slowly and make sure you note where everything goes. The wire harness wraps around the engine to the starter and has the solenoid wire, oil pressure switch wire and others in one part. It will take you with jack stands and floor jack about one hour and a little cussing to replace that harness. Disconnect the negative and positive terminals and start the process. Pay attention where the old harness is clipped to brackets and try to clip back all the clips right where they go. Run the wire, hook up the starter and other ends first and battery positive terminal last then clip the harness down. Good luck!
