95 cadillac Deville has oil on bell housing if not from valve covers where?

There seems to be oil on the bell housing of my 95 Deville, I thought it might be dripping from valve covers. If not where else could it be coming from?

Northstar or 4.9liter?

95 Deville had both. Concours model had Northstar.

Northstar might leak oil at the 'split block' seal which goes all around the motor. And requires motor to be pulled to fix.
Best thing to do with a Cadillac oil leak - ignore it. When you change the oil wipe the bottom of the motor, tranny, whereever with Carb Cleaner or some other good solvent, maybe even Simple Green all purpose cleaner, put come cardboard or one of those plastic pans you can buy to put under a clothes washer to catch the drips, and close your eyes to it. If it is not the valve covers or the intake, it's going to be expensive to repair.

It could also be coming from the intake manifold gaskets. If the engine is particularly "gunky" and you cannot see an obvious source, consider using a degreaser to clean up the engine then, after running it, look for newly "wet" areas.
