    You have a bad ignition switch. Call a locksmith in your area that works on automobiles and explain the problem. Whoever you contacted last time doesn't know what he is talking about. If there is no resistance when you turn the key, it is absolutely the ignition switch.

    I bought the switch and replaced it myself. Wasn't the problem. It's the piece that the rod goes into which according to Advanced Auto is the locking cylinder. I don't know if that's right but now I have to find another ride to get me up there and back to try to exchange the part. *ugh* If anyone else had this issue, please let me know how you fixed it!
