    also check fuse #5,also check the fuel pump switch/oil pressure guage sensor located directly behind your distributor housing,this acts as a failsafe for the fuel system,make sure it hooked up ,there is 3 page test for your problem you are better off buying a book for this truck so you can stop just replacing parts you do not need,if you changed your fuel pump because you were not getting juice to it,wrong diag,stop and think about the symptoms for a minute,if you are not getting power to a certain component and then you change that component,well what are you doing to get the power back,not a thing,you need to check power and ground first thing,i bet if you took a couple of wires and tapped into your old fuel pump with a power source i bet it would have worked just fine,buy a 15.00 book and run the symptom on it,repost if you have anymore ?'s

    What book are you talking about?
    The only book i found was on GMC Sonoma/Chev.S-10,from Auto Zone!!

    if it is a chiltons or a haynes you should be good to go

    I just worked on a 93 with tbi it ended up being the distributor control modular
