98 Chrysler Town & Country minivan doors lock by themselves.

i have 98 t&c grand minivan and while i am driving the door locks will unlock and lock themselves, also i will lock the car and comeback and sometime the car will be unlocked. i had a mechanic look at it and they can't figure it out. anybody have an idea what it might be?

I'd suspect either a faulty switch, or frayed/broken wiring. This may be very hard to track down.

I'd put a meter on each of the door lock/unlock switches, and work them up and down to see if any of the resistance looks intermittent. I'd look first at the switches which get used the most, typically the drivers door....check that first.

If you don't find a switch problem I'd meter the wire which flexes in the drivers door when it's opened and closed.

Beyond that, you'd need the electrical schematics to see whether there were any relay points also in the circuit which could be flakey.
