99 GMC Yukon. Daytime running low beam headlights problem. When I turn the switch on, the low beam lights turn off. New switch installed.
Low beam headlights come on as normal. When I turn on switch the low beams turn off. With switch on, high beams will turn on. If switch is turned to running light, tail lights work and low beams turn on. I have replaced the bulbs and installed new switch and relay at junction box on lower inside fire wall.

Just read thru the diagnostics for inoperative low beams...Possible causes are:Faulty Dimmer switch,(The one to switch from Low to High Beam, not the panel dimmer).Which is part of the Multifunction switch, steering column.Open in Ckt 359 PPL between headlamp dimmer switch and DRL relay,Open in Ckt 12 Tan between DRL relay and Splice 120,Faulty DRL relay.Headlamp bulbs.you already replaced. You need to run a series of tests with a test lamp ....Too much for me to type in...Doc J
