Anyone have any ideas or experince with light trailer hitch for 2007 Dodge Caliber R/T, CVT.

I have contacted all top hitch companies and had no luck with finding one for Caliber R/T.

The 2007 Caliber R/T should be good for 1,000 lbs. I found the link below on the 2008 R/T at Edmunds. Check your manual, however, to confirm.

SO few people tow with small cars in this country that hitches are hard to find, especially for a relatively new model like the Caliber. Try contacting a big u-haul store. The ones with service bays sell and install hitches, and they have access to a wide selection.

Still, they don't start making hitches for cars like yours until they sense sufficient demand to make it worthwhile. You could also try a Dodge dealer. Since Dodge seems to have given it a tow rating, they might have created an accessory hitch and wiring kit, too.
