    You could disconnect the neg battery post and put in a test light between the neg cable and post. If you think you got everything off and the light is on, you got a short somewhere. Pull the fuses out one by one until the light goes out, so now you know which circuits are on and then to find out why. Make sure to know how the fuses go back AND have the door closed while doing this. An open door adjar switch will mislead you.
