CARS Cash for Clunkers help. Insured car on 6/21/08 with a 6 month policy. Got second policy on 1/23/09. Will that one day in between disqualify.

Ok, I bought and insured vehicle on 06/21/08 with a 6month policy that ended on 1/21/09, did not get new policy until 1/23/09, will the one day inbetween disqualify me from having continuous coverage? Is there any laws/rules of lapsing policies?

Check with your insurance agent. You are required by the state to maintain continuous coverage. If there was a lapse, then you were in violation of your state insurance requirement. The dates may be a mistake that can be corrected by your insurance agent - who should be aware that you cannot have a lapse in coverage.
