Caddilac models STS and DTS. What's the difference?

what is the difference between the Cadillac STS and DTS models and in what years where they rolled out?

The current version of the STS was rolled out in 2005 and is RWD

The DTS was rolled out in current form in 2006 and is FWD.

They are about the same size of car although the STS is a bit heavier and offers more engine options and more power.
