Can I convert my 2nd row bench seat into captains chairs in my 2003 Ford Excursion?
Need to be able to access back seat while front bench has car seats attached. Will have three car seats soon. I know the middle bench can be removed, but can captains chairs be installed easily? Where do I find the actual seats. I've searched all over the internet.

I worked for a Ford dealership, you should be able to convert your 2nd row into captains seats however, you will more than likely have to go to a dealership or body shop to have them installed. I don't think that you would be able to convert them easily on your own since they have the brace bars installed in the under part of the vehicle and you will have to have new ones installed. Check some dealerships for pricing and make sure that you know what you are willing to spend and don't be afraid to tell them that their price is too high, most dealerships want the business so they may lower the original price given. I hope this helps.
