I see you have made all the right checks, you have also solve your own puzzle when you say from key to starter has no power!!! Ok, the from key to starter solenoid is the problem, now you can have a blown fuse, i this it is one of those 5 amps fuse. You can also start your ponticac by connecting a wire to the starter solenoid, turn on full ignition and just hold that wire to positive on the battery and the vechile will turn over and start, then release the wire, no current wont come out of the loose wire after it has start. But check the fuses and if all fuses are ok then you check the starter solenoid wire, i think it's a black/yellow stripe or black/white stripe to the key switch.
