    Depends on the dealer, but sure. Some dealers have taken speedboats, snow machines, and ATVs in on trade. Others may not want to fool with it. Edmunds doesn't do motorcycle values but nadaguides.com does.

    You'll probably take more of a beating on it than in a private sale, but its a quick way to exchange a bike for a new car. All the dealers around me take bikes in trade. Many also take boats, but bikes are easier than boats. Man, that's a nice bike and should be an easy sell. Have you tried to sell it privately?

    This is the worst time of the year to sell a bike, unless you're in FL. A smart buyer would know that and be looking for an off-season bargain.

    I took in several motorcycles, a trailer and, once a golf cart.

    The stores will call places that sell motorcycles and get a "buy bid" from them. If a deal is struck, they will have the motorcycle store come and get it.
