Car cooked. May have blown head gasket not sure. No water in oil but spark plugs wet. Internal engine damage?

My Mrs overheated her 1992 Mazda Marvie Proceed due to a split radiator hose.Car may have a blown head gasket or warped head but i can see no visible signs of it.Car will not start so i pulled spark plugs out which were wet .No water in oil so do you think there will be major damage? im going to put plugs back in and try to start it again today. Thanks.Karl Maley

I'd suggest buying a compression tester and checking all the cylinders before putting the plugs back in. Very simple to use and the only way to know for sure. Get a screw in type.
