    YOu know I THINK you are okay but you really need to check the official literature. I've read 16,000 to 17,000 lbs total trailer weight. At any rate, it doesn't seem like you are pushing your luck. Of course, all this presumes a truck in good shape with the appropriate tow packaging, cooling, etc.

    Check your owners manual or a dealer if you don't have one. Also, this information can be on the placard on the driver side door jamb.

    There's no question the engine can tow this, it's the short box chassis that concerns me.
