Chevy Impala. Want to change the low beam bulb. Manual says remove the air baffle. What is that?

Chevy Impala LS I want to change the low beam headlight bulb.

The manual says first remove the air baffle then remove the
two retaining clips by pushing them up and slide the assembly out in order to change the bulb. What is the air baffle?

In Maintenance & Repair > Lights > Headlights
In Makes & Models > Chevrolet > Impala
