Is this a two-piece shaft? If so, does it have a support bearing? You might look there. Also, a u-joint can freeze up, like a frozen wrist, and not be loose, but still vibrate out of imbalance.
yeah i believe its a 2 piece drive shaft. I think i will replace the u joint first and take a look at that bearing.
ok not sure if its a 2 piece. its a 4x4 automatic 4.7 v8
