The 2004 Accord 4 cylinder has a timing chain; which lasts much longer than a belt. But the 2004 Accord V-6 has a timing belt; and also has an "interference engine" which is liable to be severely damaged if the belt breaks or slips out of posiiton. I would not exceed 100,000 miles on an Accord V-6 timing belt; to prevent expensive consequences.
