Does anybody know it a Toyota Prius can be safely towed on all fours behind a RV?

I need to tow a Toyota Prius behind a motor home using a tow bar that will tow the Prius on all fours. The tow bar installer isn't sure a Prius can be towed on all fours.

My local Toyota service reps have been no help getting me an answer.
I've seen plenty of warnings from Toyota against towing with a Prius and even some telling how to properly tow a Prius (on two wheels). But I can't find anything that warns against towing on all fours.

Apparently you cannot tow on all four wheels since the parking pawl engages with the engine off. Everything I've read says you have to two on a dolly with the front wheels off the ground. A dolly only lifts the front of the car very little, so the rear of the car won't ground out on bumps. Of course, you have to be sure there's no parking brake on.

I'd double check with Toyota but I'm pretty sure this is right.

Toyota does not recommend "dinghy towing" of any of their automatic transmissions. I have friends who work in the technical center, and they tell me that transmission lubrication of their transmissions depends on the rotation of the input shaft to drive the pump. With the engine off, that doesn't happen.

The Prius is a different animal. Lubrication isn't so much the issue. Parts of its planetary transmission are connected directly to the electric motors. In a sense, it's always in gear. Complicated software makes sure the motors and engine turn in the proper direction and speed for propulsion, engine starting or regenerative braking. The system can't work any of this out while it's being flat-towed--it'd try to recharge the battery the whole time, and overcharge it. I agree--use a dolly.
