Does anyone know how to obtain Manheim auto pricing without being a dealer?
I am trying to trade-in a 2000 Honda Odyssey EX with 119,800 miles in above average condition. I have received three different figures from three different dealers, all stating that their numbers were based on the Manheim auto wholesale value, but none would let me actually see the report. Is there anyone with access to the data or a place to find it online?

No it's a subscription database. There is no one wholesale figure on Manheim---it's a series of auction sales, and it's very possible that three dealers could pick three different sales or any of the sales numbers they liked more than others. So these numbers are not like some gospel. Some dealers at auction pay too much for a car, and some pay too little. The idea is to average out a bunch of sales on cars like yours with similar condition and mileage---and this tells the dealer what other dealers are paying for your car. So if you are looking for one "right" number, there isn't one. At best it's an average price is a fairly tight range. As to why they won't show it to you, well that's like asking to see someone else's cards in a poker game before the bet is made. Have you tried Edmund's True Market Value? http://www.edmunds.com/tmv/used/index.ht...
