A Strong possibilty here is the Multifunction Switch (turn signal switch)
If all the lights went out at the same time,i would bet this is the failure.
When these fail,they can/do take out the tail lights,stop lamps,turn signals....
Or you could have two different problems, a faulty multifunction switch and a faulty stop lamp switch....
