Does the Toyota rear spoiler impact the mileage of the 2008 Camry hybrid.
I recently purchased a 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The dealer through in the rear spoiler. It had to be ordered. I am getting 40+ mpg on the highway and averaging about 33m mpg in the city. Does the rear spoiler impact the miles per gallon on the car?

I would guess that it increases the drag a bit which would decrease highway mileage, but nothing you'd ever notice without some very accurate instrumentation.

I'm sure it does, but in no way will you notice the difference.

It may decrease your mileage a wee bit as it increases drag and weight of the vehicle.
