    That depends on whether the gasket is intact, or has been damaged. If it is not torn or shredded; I would leave it alone. But if you decide to replace it; be sure to clean off (and scrape, if necessary) and all traces of the old gasket before installing the new one. It is not usually necessary to use gasket sealer on this type of gasket; unless the original has obviously been sealed..
