The firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. The cylinders are numbered from passenger side to driver's side: 1-3-5 on the front (radiator) bank and 2-4-6 on rear (firewall) bank. So the # 3 cylinder is the center cylinder on the front bank.
This engine is unusual in that cylinders 1-3-5 are near the firewall. 2-4-6 are near the radiator.
