If it's in the same place as the regular C5 I would take it in to have it done. It's just a pain to get to and a real mess unless you really like gasoline in your armpits--an entire filter-full of it. It will require jacking up the car, bleeding the fuel rail, disconnecting the battery and having a special fuel line wrench. You may also have to drop part of the exhaust system on the Z06---not sure. Fun, huh?

But if you are well-equipped to do this and have the time, the filter is bolted to the frame up under the driver's side rear wheel. I think the fuel line wrench is a 5/16th, a 3/4 box type wrench.
