    Highlander isn't much bigger or heavier than the Venza. Car and Driver tested the four-cylinder Venza and found that it had plenty of power, so the same engine should be adequate for the Highlander, as long as you don't plan on doing any major towing. If you do, or if you frequently carry a lot of passengers, then the V6 is still the better choice. Also, the V6 gets very good fuel economy--almost as good as the 4cyl.
