rpw7	Have 2001 Isuzu Trooper with check engine light on with P0401 code. I have been told that this is a EGR problem, so I replaced the EGR and the light came on again the next day. What can I try next?

That's an EGR problem, but not necessarily a bad valve. Usually the passage in the intake manifold becomes clogged with carbon and requires being cleaned out.

Thanks, what is the best way to flush the carbon build up out? How far back from the EGR should I go with this clean out?
