Have a 94 Dodge Ram 2500. Why do I have to get it up to 60 km per hour before it will shift. Can you help? Thanks.

I have a 1994 dodge ram truck 2500 I have to get it up to 60 km hour before it will change, it has a v10 motor. I looked to make sure there was no lines off and didn't find any off, I hope someone can help. Thanks

sounds like a governer pressure sensor/governer pressure solenoid problem have your vehicle scanned at a local transmission shop specifically live data while the vehicle is moving gov pressure actual should be real close to kph of the truck as its moving along if low replace gov sensor and solenoid
