Have a small hole in what is to be believed called a seal on my Ford Taurus.

i parked my car from driving 4 bout 15 mins away i got out and the car was smoking from under the hood now i havent put any antifreeze or water insidee of it for a while in the radiator so it was smokey for a while i let it cool and tried to put some water in it and i see ahole on the lower part of the engine on the left its a silver circle and bout the size of a 50 cent piece and u can see the little hole what i want to know is it danerous if i try to drive it to a mechanic or possibly even home now i am not poitivley sure if it is the seal for sure thats what a cop told me do u think it wil cost alot to get it fixed or what else do u think may b wrong

you need to replace the FREEZE PLUG.

Do not drive the vehicle. For a $50 tow you're risking a blown head gasket ($$$) or engine ($,$$$). If you're lucky no damage has occured.

personally I would have it towed since as the other person stated a blown head gasket of cracked block or head is extremely expensive to repair cheaper and SAFER to have it towed
