Help installing aftermarket front door speakers on 2002 Chevy Impala. (Chevrolet Impala Audio Interior Trim)

ac78240	Help installing aftermarket front door speakers on 2002 Chevy Impala. Hi, I bought some aftermarket speakers to replace the blown, stock front door speakers on a 2002 Impala. I was recommended the Metra 72-4568 speaker harness to connect into my factory speaker harness. The problem is that the factory speaker harness is a 4-pin connector labeled P.E.D 16 and the Metra harness will not fit any which way. Is the proper connector for the Metra 72-4568 located further up in the door panel which would require me to remove the whole panel? Will I be needing a different type of speaker harness? Also, I would prefer not to mess with cutting or crimping the factory wires. I appreciate any help with this. Thank You.

Hey!

I know this is an old post but I thought I had the same issue. The Metra 72-4568 harness is for the rear speakers. I have been looking for a harness for the front doors but have yet to find one. Have you already realized this? Were you able to find the correct harness for the front doors? If so, would you mind telling me where I can get them?
