$1,100 for all your brake repairs is just two or three car payments if you finance ~$30,000 at 7%. So it's worth it to fix it and drive it.

But if you just want a new car, by all means go visit the showrooms. :-)

Yep, worth it. This isn't a repair, it's maintenance, you got 75,000 miles on those brakes, now time for new brakes and another 75,000 miles! 150,000 miles is easy to get from your Honda, just keep up with all the specified maintenance.

@Steve and texases : Thanks for the prompt reply...I got couple of more questions..Firstly, Again I need to spend around 500 dollars for 90K service and at 100k have to change my timing belt..So is it feasible to carry on with the present car and also change in tires would cost another 500 bucks..So total of 1500-2000 is left for repairs and stuff...If I buy a new car for 0% finance I won't be needing any repairs atleast till 30-60k miles as per my knowledge correct me if I am wrong...So just thinking instead of spending money for repairs how about buying a new car...Can you please let me know if I am thinking in a right path or just to carry on with Accord spending on maintenance and repairs ... Thanks a tonne for the replies :)

I'm driving a car with over 150,000 miles, so like Texases says, that's easy to do. I had to put some money into repairs and new tires, but that is still way cheaper than buying a new car.

But it sounds to me like you have the new car itch. If you can afford it and just absolutely hate spending money on car repairs, it's okay to treat yourself to a new car.

It's just hard to justify a new one simply on economics. Your Accord is barely broken in. :-)
